Hello there. Welcome to my channel. I am Zubair Khalid. I have for the past few years served as a researcher in various American institutions. Currently, I work at the University of Maryland as a postdoc. For all these years that I've worked in research, I have been driven to learn, and I love the process of learning and teaching. When I started, I had no idea how to open a terminal. I opened a terminal and wrote echo hello world, and it echoed back, and I was so over the moon. That was a good start. Sometimes you have to have that mentor who just lets you get through the initial barrier, and that gets you far ahead in the times to come. I see myself helping you at least get a kickstart on different topics of your interest. It could be bioinformatics, biology, research, science or scholarships. Everything that I've learned, and everything that I could teach my younger self in all these years, is what I would like to share. I would also like this channel to be a community, a place where people can hang out, share ideas and help each other grow and learn. I want this to be a global community where everybody is welcome. That is one of the goals. The other is to train people in the skills they think are too hard for them, when anybody can learn them. We'll try our best to make it useful and very friendly to you.
