Puppy Vaccination Schedule Calculator
A dated puppy shot schedule from your puppy's birthday: DAPP, rabies, leptospirosis and lifestyle vaccines.
Puppies get the core DAPP combination vaccine every 3–4 weeks from 6–8 weeks until at least 16 weeks old (for example at 8, 11, 14 and 17 weeks), rabies once at 12–16 weeks, and boosters of both at 1 year. Leptospirosis is two doses 2–4 weeks apart from 8–12 weeks, then yearly.

Questions
What shots do puppies need and when?
Core vaccines: DAPP (distemper, adenovirus-2, parvovirus, parainfluenza) every 3–4 weeks from 6–8 weeks until 16 weeks or older, and rabies at 12–16 weeks. Most dogs should also get leptospirosis; Bordetella, Lyme and influenza depend on lifestyle and region.
Why do puppies need several parvo shots?
Antibodies from the mother's milk can block the vaccine, and they fade at an unpredictable age between about 6 and 16 weeks. Repeating the vaccine until 16 weeks makes sure one dose works once maternal antibodies are gone.
When can my puppy go outside or meet other dogs?
About 1–2 weeks after the final DAPP dose at 16 weeks or older. Before then, socialise with healthy, vaccinated dogs you know and avoid dog parks and pet store floors.
What happens if my puppy misses a shot?
If more than 6 weeks pass between puppy doses, many vets give two more doses 2–4 weeks apart. Don't restart from scratch without talking to your vet.
Which vaccines need boosters?
DAPP and rabies at 1 year, then DAPP every 3 years and rabies every 1 or 3 years depending on the product and local law. Leptospirosis, Bordetella, Lyme and influenza are yearly.
Limitations
- Rabies timing and booster intervals are set by state or local law.
- Puppies with unknown history, illness or high parvo risk may need a different plan.
